How To Become a Firefighter in Wisconsin?

• at the least 18 years
• Valid Driver’s License
• Highschool Diploma or GED/HSED
• State of Wisconsin Firefighter we or equivalent.
• Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic (or in a position to get within 15 months).

Live fifteen environment miles through the city restrictions within 6 months of hire.​

• Nationwide Registered EMT-Basic.

Workers covered underneath the terms of this contract will be expected to reside within a fifteen (15) mile radius associated with the city limits.

• State of Wisconsin Firefighter II or comparable.
• Nationwide Registered or State of Wisconsin licensed EMT-Paramedic (or capable acquire within 15 months).

Reside within a 20-minute response period of city limitations within six months of hire.​

Reside within Chippewa Falls School District or Chippewa Fire District.​

• 18 years of age
• Nationally Registered or State of Wisconsin EMT-Paramedic licensure (or able to obtain by December 31st for this 12 months).
• EMT-Basics encouraged to make use of and you will be considered on a case-by-case foundation pending PFC approval
• State of Wisconsin Firefighter we or equivalent
• State of Wisconsin Firefighter (wewe or equivalent) -OR- ready obtain within one-year after hire date.
