Over 200 energetic and 50 semi-active volunteer firefighters which react to approximately 1700 alarms a-year inside the City of Pasadena. They react to calls within 60 square miles regarding the City of Pasadena plus shared help contract places. (The PFD provides mutual help fire-protection to Ellington Field, Johnson Space Center, as well as the University of Houston–Clear Lake. Additionally, it is an energetic member of the Channel Industrial Mutual Aid (CIMA) company, that will be a conglomeration of municipal and manufacturing fire departments that react to the various petrochemical flowers in the region.)
